With the theme “Recalling the Survivor’s Memories,” this international academic program will be held in Malang, Indonesia, from July 7–11, 2025. Designed for students, researchers, and professionals, the course will explore the power of oral testimony in reconstructing historical narratives, especially those shaped by lived experience and memory. Participants will engage in lectures, fieldwork, storytelling workshops, and cultural immersion activities while building scholarly networks across Southeast Asia.
